This month’s newsletter is about ‘Trusting your gut instinct’.

I’ve done many jobs in my life. I’ve been a waitress, a drama and dance teacher, a newspaper sales representative, a leisure facilities entertainer and a support worker. All these jobs suited me at that time.

Now I work as a counsellor and as an entertainer. When I decided to ‘come out’ this year and speak openly about my depression in my shows, I had no idea I would end up being a mental health campaigner and making a big difference to so many people.

All I knew is that it felt right for me to talk about something I have lived with all my life. The result – amazing! I honestly believe that when you are being true to yourself and following your gut instinct – magic happens!

I encourage you to trust your gut instinct and do what feels right for you.

I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who were able to attend my mental health shows this year. I can tell you the next one will be at The Palace Theatre in Redditch on Sat 6th Feb and after that a new show will be performed at The Lichfield Garrick on Fri 8th April 2016

In the meantime I will be hosting Mind Management workshops, seeing clients for one to one sessions and continuing to give talks to break down the stigma of mental health.

If any of you didn’t get to see my feature on the BBC and would like to see it them feel free to click on the link

As always if I can help you or anyone you know who is stuck with anxiety, lacking in self-confidence or struggling with depression then please feel free to get in touch.

I wish you all continued success and happiness.
