Comic and counsellor Sheila McMahon has launched a book based on her own mental health experiences.

In the book, she shares the story of how her experiences as a child led her to depression and self-sabotage, and how she broke this cycle by ridding herself of the ‘victim mentality’ to become the winner in her own life.

Sheila now hopes to inspire others not to let fear and judgment hold them back from their true potential using her experiences of being a stand-up comic, counsellor and client.

The book has been described by readers as ‘brilliant’, ‘truly inspirational’ and ‘phenomenal’, includes exercises designed to give readers the awareness tools to break free from limiting thoughts and negative patterns of behaviour in order to be the best they can be.
